Erika was born with a passion for hair. Knowing that her future was in this industry, she completed cosmetology school at Regency Beauty Academy while attending high school. Graduating both in 1998, she got hired on with a respectable salon in St. Paul. After completing 12 months of advanced training she began working full time with and learning from some of the industry’s best influences. Erika stayed with that company for many years and was eventually instructing future stylists before venturing on her own. Now as a business owner Erika stays current with all of the newest trends and inventions by attending multiple shows and classes annually. Erika loves all aspects of hair, especially event styling. Early in her career she competed in two “updo” competitions and took first in both. She loves to be a part of people’s big events and make them look and feel their best. She has done hundreds of weddings and is willing to travel to do hair on location for wedding parties.  Erika has been with Onyx since opening day in 2007 and when in her chair, you are her #1 priority.
